This Privacy Policy explains how Darzi OS (“we”, “our”, the “App”), operated by Epickod, handles information when you use our tailoring management application and website. We’ve written it in plain language. By using Darzi OS you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account details — your name, shop name, and email address when you create an account.
- Business data you enter — orders, customers, measurements, workers, inventory, and accounting records you add to run your shop.
- Customer contact details — phone numbers you store so the app can send order updates on your behalf.
- Technical data — basic device and diagnostic information needed to keep the app working.
2. How we use it
- To provide the app’s features — storing your records and syncing them across your devices.
- To send order, pickup, and reminder messages to your customers when you enable WhatsApp messaging.
- To back up your data to the cloud so you don’t lose it.
- To maintain security and improve reliability.
3. Where your data is stored
Your data is stored on your device and, when you use an online account, synced to Google Firebase (Firestore & Authentication). Firebase processes data on our behalf under Google’s security and privacy terms. The app is offline-capable; data created offline is uploaded when you reconnect.
4. Third-party services
- Google Firebase — authentication, database, and cloud storage.
- Meta WhatsApp Business (Cloud API) — only if you connect it, to deliver messages to your customers. Messages are sent using credentials you provide.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your data. We don’t share your business or customer data with anyone except the service providers above, strictly to operate the app, or where required by law.
6. Your customers’ data
You are responsible for the customer information you enter and for having a lawful basis to message your customers. You act as the controller of that data; Darzi OS simply stores and transmits it on your instruction.
7. Your choices & rights
- Export a full backup of your data at any time from Settings → Data & backup.
- Edit or delete records within the app.
- Request deletion of your account and associated cloud data by contacting us.
8. Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your cloud-stored data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it by law.
9. Children
Darzi OS is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
